Youthtown

Hooray today is the day to go to Youthtown! The reason why we went was because we had a trip organised. Actually we usually go on trips every year and I just knew this was a fun trip.

Ring ring, went the to bell. “ Hooray it’s time to go to the trip “ I shouted with joy. As I got prepared I asked my buddy if he was eager to go on the trip. He was really eager and so was I. I was just dying to go to Youthtown.

As I hopped out of the bus I said to my buddy “Finally we're here aye Iisa”.
“Yeah” Replied Iisa.
Entering this wonderful place, we met two ladies named Georgia and Sue. The air was filled with the smell of chlorine.

The art room was right ahead so soon then I knew we were going to go to there. I was right, we had entered the art room, so I found a seat that was next to my mate. I wondered what were we going to make. The second Sue had said we were making a bowl with glass in the clay that’s when the fun started.

I started by making coils and adding them to my squared clay like a rim. It was fun. Now was time to hatch cross my designs(Hatch Crossing is like doing x’s). When I had finished my last design I then moved onto putting glass on my bowl. By the time I had finished I was proud of myself.

This was easily the best activity we had done. ‘Swimming Time’ Swimming was the thing we
were waiting for and finally we had the chance to go swimming. Off we went to get changed.

I leaped into the pool like a frog and it gave a big, huge splash. When I hopped into the pool I had noticed that it was really warm and I mean really warm, it was like a spa pool but colder. The water moved back and forth and back and forth because we were having lots of fun playing tiggy.

It was time to get changed and go play mini soccer. We had a challenge against the girls and we planned that whoever loses has to be dared. Guess what, the boys won. The girls were so angry at us cause we won.

Sadly the day ended. It was the best time we had ever had at Youthtown. My favourite thing was swimming and playing mini soccer. I’m going to have fun daring those girls. I hope we can come here next year. I don’t even know if we will. Do you think we will?
