My Trip to Australia

Have you ever been to Australia? Well it is so cool. There is heaps of fun things to do, like going for a swim or play outside or even go to the movies. You can do all those kind of stuff at other countries all around the world too. Here is how my trip went.

As soon as I got off the plane I saw my uncle. I knew here was here to drop me and my family off to his house. Before we got to him I said to myself, this is a really cool place.

Just as we arrived to my uncles house, I was so tired I needed to go to sleep. So when I hopped out, I could barely move my legs. I was so tired.

The next morning I woke up and looked outside the window and it was morning. Before I went back to sleep I saw a kid walking to school, and that made me want to go to school as well. "Mum Mum" I shouted.
Can  I go to school mum" I said to her. "You have to wait" My mum replied.

I went to my cousins house after a while. I stayed there for the rest of the day to play. It was so cool there.

Finally I went with my mum to enroll for a school. I was so excited as soon as I went. It was the first time going to a school in Australia, so I was looking forward.

Sadly the day ended. At least my Birthday was coming up very soon. I could not wait.

Re-Crafting

Today we practised re-crafting a piece of writing. The first one belongs to Aldora and the second is mine.

“Oh my god” I said, I never knew cross country was going to be so hard and long. When I got half way I started to sprint so I could catch up to some girls but sadly I didn’t. I was getting closer to the finish line and I was so proud of myself.

Approaching half-way, I began to sprint. I felt exhausted , but I kept on running because I wanted to catch up to the other girls.Feeling gutted, I made my way closer to the finish line. I just wasn't fit enough to keep up with them. How fit do you think you are?

Liu Xiang

Sprinting down the track as fast as I could, I finally I came to the first hurdle. “Boing, I jumped over the hurdle but........Nek Minute,I crashed and I hurt myself.

Ouch, My achilles tendon were hurt really badly. “NOW, MY COUNTRY IS GOING TO KILL ME”, I said in my head. Getting ready for action, my country wanted me to win. “GO”. Off I ran. “Oh man they're gonna kill me if I don’t win this race, I have to win this“Come on Liu xiang you can do it” I said to myself.

Sitting on the track, I went hopping out the track with embarrassment. As I went inside, someone came to me and said, “You are not allowed to go in the tunnel Liu Xiang”. I turned around and hopped back down the track.

Can I make it to the end? As I was nearly there, I stopped and kissed one hurdle. Making it to the end, two of my competitors came and helped me. Finally a rest. “I think I should retire”, I said to myself.

After years of training, it was Usain Bolt’s time to shine. Could he win? Waiting to dominate the race, Bolt was ready for action.

The naturally gifted athlete, Lightning Bolt, outran all the others. Speeding down the track with great strength, the world’s fastest man finished powerfully. Will he win the gold?

This superstar athlete is the world’s fastest man of all time. He is a deserved winner. Will he return to the track?

Thanks Panasonic

At assembly today on Friday, Paul from Panasonic came to Pt England and presented to us a camera and also two microphones because room thirteen won and had worked hard to make a storyboard for a competition that panasonic runs every year and it’s called Kids Witness News. Since we have the camera we now have to make the movie, so that means we have not won completely. I hope that we win next time so that some of us can go over seas.

Panasonic is a cool company.. If I had to choose the best company in the world, it would be Panasonic. I mean there aren’t that many companies that would be generous. (There are some companies that are kind like telecom)

Thank you Panasonic for the camera and the equipment. You are so generous. Thank you very much.

THANKS PANASONIC!!!!!!!!!

Cross Country Training

Walking down to the corner of the court, I felt like not doing the cross country training. Teachers are so mean. Every minute I was just hoping it would rain. Why oh why?

Sprinting down the path and struggling to breathe, I began slowing down. My legs were aching and they were filled with pain, but I did not want to give in. As I started to get closer to the finish, my heart started to beat faster and faster. I started to think about what the real cross country would be like.

I was filled with joy as soon as I finished. And although I was a little bit exhausted, I was pleased at the same time. I hope that next time I do this I will just jog and not sprint. My goal for cross country is to win.

Olympic Flame

The Olympic Flame is ignited by the sun in Olympia, Greece. The Olympic Flame must keep on burning until the closing of the ancient Olympic games.

The tradition still continues to these days. The Olympic Flame is lit by a curved mirror that reflects the heat of the sun onto the Olympic Flame. It is performed by a woman dressed in ancient style robes.
.
The lighting of the flame is a very important event at the Olympic stadium. It keeps alight until the games are concluded.

Olympics

This term I think we a really going to find out more about the Olympics because this term our topic is Go for gold. I really hope that I could learn about my favourite sports, boxing and running. We might even be able to find out more about famous olympians like Peter Snell, Jesse Owens and also Usain Bolt.

I am really looking forward to learn about the olympics. I wonder what’s still going to come this term. Maybe we would get a chance to try out and experience more things about the Olympics.

The big spider.

Imagine having a big black spider in your classroom or house. Do you think that will be scary? Well I think it will.

“Ok kids it’s time to take the fabrics off the wall” said Miss King. As we took it down the spider suddenly moved all around and went somewhere else because we had disturbed it. It was angry at us.

The spider in our classroom looked really scary and huge. I felt like it was going to bite someone, but it didn’t. Luckily no one was hurt.

Art Reflection

Art Gallery

OK we are going to go to the Art Gallery” Miss King said. “Hooray! I shouted. I have never been to an Art Gallery before so this was my first time. Off we went.

The first second I stepped into the Art Gallery Place at our school, I was amazed by the amazing artwork we have all done. These piece of art were really cool and really. That’s the thing that caught my eye.

My favourite piece of art was Mikaiah Hopani’s artwork, he did a picasso style but drew bruno mars. As I walked towards the stage I stopped and looked at this cool picture that had a tree in it. It displayed lots of colours that stood out.

It was the last minute to have a look around and I went to look at our classroom’s art work. I was proud of my artwork. We sadly had to go when time was up.

PEPA

Last night PEPA performed to us. If you do not know what PEPA is it stands for PT England Performing Arts. The time Hip Hop had started I was so excited. Hip hop was my favourite item out of every performance. I really liked their dance because there was this super move that Samson and Cruz did. It was really cool. I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks to the PEPA group for performing to us. You really did a good job.
