Letter to Christchurch

Dear Christchurch

We hope That you can find a way through the tough times right now.
We hope no one else is dead and that they are all alive and safe.
We love you with all loving hearts and may the time’s of trouble be gone so you can have a
better life.
It is pretty scary to have a earthquake,but we hope it won’t happen again.

christchurch earthquake

Yesterday, at 12.51pm, there was a earthquake in Christchurch. It was magnitude 6.3, with a depth of 5km. Lots of buildings collapsed & people were trapped inside. The Prime Minister Says it’s the darkest day in New Zealand.

When the buildings collapsed the bricks fell & the dust choked the city. People were covering their mouths with masks, so they could breathe. Many of them could not see because of the dust.


Liquefaction came from underneath the ground.It was bubbly and dirty too.The liquefaction made floods that came out of a big holes in the ground.

Cinderella

Once a princess was wearing a stunning beautiful,magnficent blue dress.

There were busy mice working while she was going to get changed.

Under the bold, full moon the princess and the prince finally danced.

Baseball

On Thursday we played baseball, well it wasn’t baseball it was T-ball. There were 2 teams. There was a blue team & a red team. The blue team got to go first to bat.

This how you play. The first person who bats goes & bats, if they miss the ball thats strike 1. Then it keeps on going until you reach your 3rd one. When you hit the ball, you have to run to the first base. These are the things you could be, the pitcher, out field, 1st base, 2nd base and 3rd base.

Netbook day.

Today room 13 were given our netbook, it looked cool.

Ms Burt talked to us about the netbook. Mr Burt came & talked to us as well.

Mrs Burt taught us how to turn it on & to take out the netbook.

After that we opened it & set it up.

Then we played games on it. Next we went outside & they were put away in the coubard.
