Xtramath:

Xtramath is a really cool website to visit if you do not know your maths. It helps you know your maths fast and quick. If you have not been on it you should try xtramath out.

It has helped me with my basic facts and addition. Xtramath is now helping me learn subtraction. Who ever made xtramath is so cool because I can’t wait to be brainy.  

Sand Flea

This is a movie about a kid controlling this some kind of weird car. When I watched it I said " Wow" I thought it was impossible. Well I guess this kind of trick isn't.

I wonder how this kid does it. It is like this thing can jump over anything except Mount Everest. Cool Thing aye  .

Badminton

What did I enjoy?

This term I really enjoyed Badminton. The reason why I liked Badminton is because I learnt new skills.

Things I did not enjoy?

I really did not like cross country. This is because I always get tired on the race.

What I learnt?

I learnt equivalent fractions. It was cool learning to do fractions.  I learnt how to share and write fractions.  I enjoyed working with materials as it helps me to understand them properly.

How do I feel about my term overall?

I feel very proud of myself for getting into Extension.  This class has helped me learn many exciting facts about Ireland.  I feel very happy and excited because it is the end of term.  

What did I find Interesting?

I found Maths Whizz interesting because it teaches me strategies.  It helps me to learn more with my maths.  

What could I have done better to help my learning?

I could have study more often at home or at school.    I think my goal can be to learn exciting things to help me in my work.

Trip to One tree hill in 2011

The sun shone on me as I walked towards One Tree Hill. “Really, do I have to climb that mountain?”. Finally, I managed to get to the top. Wow this is a beautiful view of Auckland.

Sliding back down the mountain felt like sliding into a enormous black hole. Scary!   

ROW (Rock Our World)

ROW (Rock our world, It was made in 2008) has a focus on poetry. This is our intro to it, a Haiku about Mrs Tele'a. Rock our world was made so that schools around the world can particapate to share their work with Rock our world. I think that is why. Carol Anne McGuire is actually the one who made up or say created this. It is a Global kind of thing.

And this a Haiku and how you actually how you create one.

First five syllables
Second seven syllables
Third five syllables

A Haiku has five syllables in the first sentence and seven in the second. For the last one it has five syllables. And that is what you call a Haiku.

e.g

Mrs Tele'a
A yellow watch hangs on her
And she’s a teacher

Chocolate is brown
Though it has sugar
I will never frown

My Camp Song

The Amazing Mobius Strip

As the Mobius strip little film had finished we thought it was magic. We tried to do the experiment ourselves all together. Watching Miss King doing an example, I had the feeling that I could do that too. Wow! I was amazed by the Mobius strip but it looked complicated too.

As I twisted one half of my paper I taped it together. Cautiously drawing a line to my paper, I finally reached the end. After I had done all of  it I had a funny looking paper, I finally made a interesting circle. Even though the Mobius Strip looked so complicated, I was determined to finish it.

At the end it turned out to be a circle that was loopy. If only we had the chance to do lots, I could experiment more.

Warriors Vs Sea Eagles

                         
  "Guess what happened during the cool weekends on Sunday night"? The Warriors played against the Manley Sea Eagles. It was an interesting game. "Let's go and see what happened"

Once the referee had blown the whistle for the game to start I shouted " GO THE WARRIORS " The game had started. "I hope it is a good first half".

"Manley has scored the first try of the game" Shouted the commentator. I really did not expect this to happen but any ways this is just the first half. The warriors will catch up.

" Hooray" I jumped go warriors. YES,YES, TRY!!!!!

It's the final phase and it is only 26-20. Pass the ball, Ohhhhhh. The Warriors have lost to the Manley Sea Eagles.

What a close match between two good teams. Hope Warriors win there other game.

My Special Bike

What an amazing gift I have been given. The Telecom building people has given to me and other people bikes and they look stunning. It is such a pleasure. What a nice thing to do.

Once I got home with my bike I on Friday, I rode it round and round until my brother wanted a turn. But no my brother did not want to have a turn in fact he was sleeping. He always sleeps.


My bike is red with white stripes on it and I like it just the way it is. It has wheels that are very dark black. My bike is almost taller than my hip.

I like my bike. I even like the Telecom people who made it. I wish I had this ages ago.

Please Love The World Israel Love Iran!!!

I am making this blog post so that the love can share to Israel and Iran. We love both Israel and Iran and we do not want any war between the middle east. Israel should love Iran and Iran should love Israel so that there is peace between the whole world. This is why I am posting this. Please share this with every one so the world is peaceful.

Camp

How exciting to go to camp. Have you ever been to camp? Camp is so fun.

Yay!! We are going to kayak at the pt England beach. Kayaking is so fun, it is one of my favourite things to do during camp. The activity is cool.

Next year on camp I am looking foward to do heaps more. This year I expected to go to camp and now I get to go camp. I can’t wait.

Marble contraption

This contraption is just like when room 13 at pt England school made some marble tracks. Well this time we watched this movie and it was the same thing that we had done. Dr Benjamin Carson

What an exciting day it is going to be on the 6th of March. Wow we are going to travel on the bus to go to the amazing Dr Ben Carson to tell us about his life time story. It is going to be held at the Telstra clear pacific events centre.

Dr Benjamen Carson is found as the best brain surgeon actually he is a gifted neuro-surgeon. That is because he had disciplined himself to study harder than he had ever before. Ben had started from the bottom of the class to the top of the class.
